Sega Saturn Emulator
Sega - 1994
Play your legally owned Sega Saturn games locally in the browser with Emu Paradise. Your ROM files stay in this browser.
Before you play
This page uses EmulatorJS with the configured yabause core. You need your own lawfully obtained game dump; this site does not supply commercial ROMs or BIOS files.
Saturn is a CD-based system. Select the descriptor and all referenced tracks together when using a multi-file disc dump.
This app requires you to select a locally owned BIOS before starting. File-extension checks do not verify BIOS identity, region or contents; consult the core documentation.
The emulator runtime must load before a game can start. Your selected game files are used locally, not uploaded to a game server.
Accepted files
This page accepts: .iso, .bin, .cue, .ccd, .chd, .toc. These are importer extensions, not a tested game compatibility list.
Select every related file for multi-track discs. Keep descriptor references and track filenames unchanged; a missing companion track can prevent loading or audio playback.
ZIP containers can be extracted locally by the importer. Keep all required game files together; extraction does not convert a dump into another system or format.
Controller setup
Saturn has six face buttons plus L/R and Start. A four-face-button gamepad needs additional bindings for the remaining buttons.
Use the player input settings to inspect or change bindings. Focus the game before using the keyboard, and connect a gamepad before checking its inputs. Browser recognition does not guarantee every controller or accessory works.
Known limits
Saturn emulation can be demanding and game-dependent. Disc acceptance does not imply full-speed or accurate playback.
Performance and accuracy depend on the game, core, device and browser. No per-game compatibility or full-speed guarantee is made.
The local library may need you to re-link files when browser storage is unavailable or cleared. Keep original dumps and independent backups of important progress.
If a game does not start
For a disc that will not boot, check the BIOS region and track bundle. For audio problems, use the descriptor rather than an isolated track.
Check the player error message, the selected system and the original dump first. A successful extension check does not validate the file contents. See Guides for the import workflow and the core reference below for system requirements.
